Hi friends, I know I have abandoned you for a long time but I want you to know that I did it for a purpose. I’ve been making final adjustments to some projects that took me over 8 years to complete. The details will come later, I still don’t know if it’s in the form of an e-book or a YouTube channel.

In the meantime, I understand that not everyone has time to read a good book even if they’re interested. Therefore, I share my summary in which I took the most important points from this book along with several facts that author Adam J. Jackson mentions in his 22nd Edition.

He begins by saying that by the time we reach the age of sixty-five, only eight percent of men and two percent of women enjoy an independent economic situation, and less than one percent of the population is wealthy. If wealth is why we all work and aspire, why does it reach some and not others? And those who get it, they’re a minority. What do they know, that the rest of us don’t?

The First Secret – The Power of Subconscious Beliefs

“What is important is not what people can do, but what they believe they can do. The human mind and body are capable of great achievements, the main problem is that we do not believe ourselves capable of them.”

Many of us put all our faith in others, religious individuals put their faith in God, but if there is one person that we must all trust and believe in, it is in ourselves. We can achieve everything we put our minds to.

If you want to achieve it and you believe it, deep down in your bones, then there’s nothing left but to achieve what you want so much. Nobody says it’s going to be easy, but never impossible.

All the circumstances of our lives are a reflection of our subconscious beliefs which we can change through self-suggestion (talk to yourself positively until that positivism enters your being).

We don’t achieve what we’re capable of. We achieve what we believe we can achieve! Trust yourself!

The Second Secret – The Power of a Burning Desire

“Living things are simply motivated by two things: pleasure and pain. If we think something’s going to please us, we’re looking for it. If we think something is going to bring us pain, we avoid it.”

“You have to desire it so much, that you will be willing to make all kinds of sacrifices (except sacrifice your health, your relationships, or your integrity) to overcome the barriers that arise in your way.”

“Achievements require effort, determination, and commitment.”

If you don’t have the kind of wealth you desire, it’s because you don’t have a burning desire for it. You will recognize that you have a burning desire for something when you are willing to do anything to achieve it as long as you do not harm your health, other people, and/or your values.

You can achieve a burning desire for something using pleasure or pain. For the pain, remember the things you’d like to have but you can’t, as many times as you would have loved to help someone but you didn’t have the money to do so. Let this be the last time that happens. Or you can think of the things you can accomplish, and use that as your inner fire, your motivation to get what you want.

The Third Secret – The Power of a Solid Purpose

What do you want to accomplish in life? Do not use too vague and general terms, which lack a specific description. What do you need to have to feel prosperous? How much would you need to earn before you feel rich?

Wanting a car isn’t enough. You certainly don’t want any car. You need to know the exact model, the make, the color. Only then will the mind have something to focus on.

Learn that you can have what you want, but first, you’d need to know exactly what you want and why you want it. This is the power of solidity of purpose.

You need to have goals to create riches. Write them down! To be more effective, goals need to be written and we need to return to them regularly to verify that we are on the right track.

For example: “Between today and the (date for when you want to achieve it) I will generate $xx, xxx amount of money. I’m going to do it by doing (XXXX), (XXXX)”

Write down your goals, read them three times a day — in the morning, afternoon, and evening.

Visualize yourself having achieved those goals.

Remember that prosperity and wealth are not about accumulating money or possessions on their own, but, in the power, they give us in fulfilling the purposes we have set ourselves in life.

The Fourth Secret – The Power of an Organized Action Plan

In the words of the great Napoleon Hill, “The secret of getting things done is to act. The way to success is organized thinking followed by… Action! Action! action!”

“If you want it, it’s not a dream.” “If your mind can conceive it and believe it, then you can do it.”

“If you want to make sure you’re going to make it, you need to develop a strategy that will lead you to it. That means creating an organized action plan.”

“There is no millionaire who has achieved his fortune without first developing and following a well-organized action plan.”

Remember the Golden Rule, “When you think you’ve already exploited all possibilities, remember one thing… you haven’t!”

“At first glance, many situations seem impossible, but when you sit down and start drawing up an action plan, you start to see that there are many possibilities.”

Use the ten-point technique: “To develop a plan for each of your goals, list ten possible ways to achieve your goals.”

Before you accept a job or open a business (in any way possible depending on your circumstances), ask yourself the following questions:

Will I enjoy this kind of work?

Is the work in line with my talents and abilities?

Will it bring me closer to my professional and economic goals?

The Fifth Secret – The Power of Specialized Knowledge

You must learn that you and only you are responsible for your destiny. Don’t wait for luck to drop on your lap. Get out there and create your destiny. You have the power to create the future you want.

Unlike the belief of many, Knowledge is NOT power. “Knowledge is potential power. It becomes power only when properly organized and applied with intelligence through a practical action plan aimed at a specific goal.”

“No one has ever gathered Wealth in Abundance without first acquiring specialized knowledge: about tax law, investment and savings plans, their business field or what your clients want or need.”

There are two ways to work:

1. You do it alone. You have to become a wise man and carry all the weight that comes with it. Usually, this happens if you don’t trust others.

2. Create a team with different virtues and knowledge. “You don’t need to know everything yourself, but you need to know where and how to get the information you’ll need.”

Summary Part I: You must believe in yourself and know that you can achieve whatever you set your mind to. You need a burning desire and a purpose for which you do things. You won’t get motivation if you do it out of obligation, you do it because you want it (It’s like loving a person because your parents chose him/her vs. loving a person because it was your choice). You need to get the knowledge you need to excel from your peers or competitors in the industry and to achieve such a thing, you must organize yourself and plan your steps or strategy. Your plan doesn’t have to be perfect from the beginning, you have to be adaptable and understand that at first there is a lot of unknown information. As you learn and improve, modify your plan if necessary.
